Robert Half Finance and Accounting has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Controller to join a well-respected manufacturing company. The Controller plans and directs all accounting operational functions, handles the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluates accounting and internal control systems, and leads departmental staff. The full-time Controller position is located in NE Oklahoma. Your responsibilities in this role - Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis - Act on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Give financial reports to executive committee and partners each month - Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed - Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management - Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection - Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis - Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation - Analyze deliverables of self and team to confirm they meet client expectations For immediate consideration, please contact Kyle Hudson at kyle.hudson@roberthalf.com or 918-493-3393.

Requirements: - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued - Excellent technology, analytics and management experience required - Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing - Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision - Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus - Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - CPA or MBA preferred - Wide ranging experience with financial analysis - Good understanding of financial statement preparation - Proven knowledge of budget forecasting - Skills in forecasting - Well-founded grasp of cash forecasting - Expertise in accounts payable - Comprehension of general ledger - Practical knowledge of job costing - Hands-on experience with SEC Reporting - General familiarity with basis costing - Earlier work involving financial reporting - Quality experience with costing - Account reconciliation experience desired - Prior experience with US GAAP - Experience with budgeting - Accounts receivable experience - Experience with month end closings - Previous experience working with financial statements consolidation - Foundational knowledge in bank reconciliations - Great attention to detail

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
